At around 9:02pm UTC the Resin server started to spam a log file with this message:

[2012-10-22 21:02:04.613] Failed to fire HealthEvent caucho.thread.pool.full: HealthSystem is not started

During this time the web server was unresponsive. It wrote several Gigs of this line (Note: 0000020 every millisecond) for about 1/2 an hour before the engineer killed it and restarted it. The version of Resin Pro in use is 4.0.31-1.

I know that's almost nothing to go on, but if you can give any suggestions about what might have caused this then that would be great
