CentOS puts the jni.h here: $ rpm -ql java-1.6.0-openjdk-devel | grep jni/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/include/jni.h /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/include/linux/jni_md.h /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/tapset/hotspot_jni.stp /usr/share/systemtap/tapset/x86_64/hotspot_jni.stp ./configure expects this checking if /bin/cp accepts -u... yes PRO: . resin configure: error: *** Can't find JNI directory in JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/jre *** JNI is expected in /usr/lib/jvm/jre/include/linux The fix is doing this: sudo ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64/include/ /usr/lib/jvm/jre/include After that is seems to work...
