Description |
(rep by Peter Yuill) I am attempting to create a servlet mapping specifically for the application context root in Resin 4.0.12. Section 12.2 of the Servlet spec (v3.0) says: The empty string ("") is a special URL pattern that exactly maps to the application's context root, i.e., requests of the form http://host:port/<contextroot>/. [^] However when I try to implement it I get this exception: [10-11-04 10:56:04.227] {main} WEB-INF/web.xml:9: com.caucho.server.webapp.WebApp.addServletMapping(): java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 0 7: <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup> 8: </servlet> 9: <servlet-mapping> 10: <servlet-name>RpDiscoveryServlet</servlet-name> 11: <url-pattern></url-pattern> Am I missing something? Seeing that resin now passes the Servlet TCK I figure I must be. |
