Examining the release notes for Update 4 I found that following change had been made: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6198522 [^] The "Specification-Version" entry in the manifest file for "rt.jar" has had its value changed from "1.4" to "1.5" in the latest update. I changed the value back to "1.4" and the error went away. Is a custom class loader being used, keying off of this runtime property to load the "older" JMX classes? |
