Summary |
0002669: Add message to logfile if jar files can't be read (e.g. due to wrong file system permissions) |
Description |
It would be great if resin could drop a line in jvm-default.log if a *.jar file in the class path could not be read (for example due to wrong file system permissions). That would make the search for errors much easier: A previously working servlet of mine somehow didn't work anymore and complained about missing classes. The jars containing these classes were in the classpath and it took me quite a while to figure out that the resin user didn't have the necessary permissions to read the files. A simple message in jvm-default.log would have saved me quite a bit of trouble. |
