Summary 0002107: Resin cannot see many jsp files unless it has write permissions to them
Description This is a resubmission of http://bugs.caucho.com/view.php?id=1818. [^] I recently made some upgrades on the server. I am now running sun-jdk-1.6.0.03, but the bug is still there.

I'm not claiming this is a resin bug, but it still looks like it here and it's very easy to reproduce. Perhaps it's specific to 64-bit Linux.

If you can at least point to demonstrating how to track this thing down, I would appreciate it. For example, if turns out to be a jdk bug, then I will certainly report it there, but it appears to be a resin bug because resin is reporting on the web page that the jsp cannot be found. It doesn't appear that java can't find it.

Checked against ubuntu with ownership and group separate from Resin user. Resin doesn't need the write permission on test.jsp files and doesn't even look at that information.

Resin does need write access to WEB-INF/work and the children directories.

Any further report on this issue must report the file permissions of the .jsp (ls -l), the owning directory, the WEB-INF, and the WEB-INF/work directories.
