Summary | 0001491: use server-name for error pages | ||||||||
Description |
(rep by Larry Gelberg) One of our customers is requiring that we supress any reference to the Resin product name or version number on error pages (in order to hide the internal workings of our application from possible hackers) We have been successful at trapping many exceptions and webapp errors using the <error-page> construct, but whenever error occur outside the webapp or internal resin errors happen, we see the Resin version on the bottom of the presented page. Is there any way to globally trap all errors and provide an alternative error page (or just suppress the Resin product name and version from the supplied error page?) |
