Summary | 0001378: Make quercus caucho AS independent solution | ||||||||
Description |
At this time Quercus has to be run inside Caucho AS. Testing for instance in Glassfish (Java EE 5 RI) will result in classcast exceptions .... This means do not relying on caucho Java EE specific implementation, like "Application", etc. Providing quercus as a standard Java EE 5 application is anticipated to open some new interresting markets opportunities to quercus ... Obviously, we are still anticipating that running Quercus inside Caucho would be prefered for obvious performance improvement reasons ;-) |
