Description |
Create a 64MB file from a UNIX shell prompt: dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/foo bs=64m count=1 Then try the test case: <?php $contents = file_get_contents("/tmp/foo"); This script finishes in under 1 second on vanilla PHP. Under Quercus, it takes about 2 minutes. |
