I am getting an java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException
when I call getTextContent() on a non-leaf node when using
Resin's built-in XML parser.
It works fine if I use Xerces instead:

  <system-property javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactory=
             "com.sun.org.apache.xpath.internal.jaxp.XPathFactoryImpl"/>
  <system-property javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory=

"com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl"/>
  <system-property javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory=

"com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl"/>

This is using Xerces within Java 5. I would need to change the config
to use standalone Xerces if I want to use a non-SUN JVM.
