Summary | 0005562: Transaction check error: file /usr/bin from resin-pro-4.0.30-1.x86_64 conflicts with file from package filesystem-2.. | ||||||||
Description |
rep by Christopher Powell sudo yum install http://caucho.com/download/rpm/4.0.30/x86_64/resin-pro-4.0.30-1.x86_64.rpm [^] Sadly, the installation fails. Transaction check error: file /usr/bin from install of resin-pro-4.0.30-1.x86_64 conflicts with file from package filesystem-2.4.30-3.8.amzn1.x86_64 According to posts about installations of google earth, this is sometimes caused by a check in the package for the directory /usr/bin, with permissions 755. On my system, /usr/bin has permissions 555. The recommended fix was to remove this check since the program does not require any special permissions on the /usr/bin directory itself. |
