0003633: Missing jar files for building Resin from source |
|
Description |
Attempting to build 4.0.1 from source results in many compilation errors due to missing jar files. The ant build file has a commented out section for the target "jsf" and says it is no longer needed because "We now ship Sun's jsf-api.jar and jsf-impl.jar in modules/ext/"
However, there were no such jars in modules/ext/. I downloaded those jars from https://javaserverfaces.dev.java.net/files/documents/1866/138058/mojarra-1.2_13-binary.zip [^] and put them in the modules/ext/ directory and the build completely successfully. |
