Summary | 0003067: rewrite-dispatch (for 3.1.8) | ||||||||
Description |
(rep by Leonid Geller) Just tested 3.1.8rc snapshot. Security (basic auth) is still bypassed when rewrite-dispatch is used, in spite of your update (see below). Could you please take another look into it, we would really like to use this feature and not rely on ROOT war hack. Here is the setup: <host id='studio.lgr.foo.com'> <web-app-deploy path="${resin.home}/webapps" /> <rewrite-dispatch> <forward regexp="^" target="/nyc/" /> </rewrite-dispatch> </host> resin-web.xml inside nyc.war has authenticator and login config settings? The only way I can get it work, in 3.1.6 or the latest snapshot, is by renaming nyc.war to ROOT.war and doing this: <host id='studio.lgr.foo.com'> <document-directory>{resin.home}/webapps/ROOT</document-directory> <web-app-deploy path="${resin.home}/webapps" /> </host> Is it possible the latest snapshot did not get the rewrite fix? |
