The following will NOT match any hosts:

<host regexp="([^:]+):8080">
  <host-name>${host.regexp[1]}</host-name>

  <root-directory>C:/foo</root-directory>

  <web-app id="/" document-directory="C:/bar/ROOT"/>
</host>

but the following will match hosts:

<host regexp="([^:]+):8080">
  <host-name>${host.regexp[1]}</host-name>

  <root-directory>foo</root-directory>

  <web-app id="/" document-directory="C:/bar/ROOT"/>
</host>
