Summary: | 0000420: digest authentication issues | ||||
Description: |
RSN-466 We are currently using resin 2.1.16 and are having an issue with digest authentication. I have attached a packet dump (pcap) that I believe illustrates the problem. In this trace you will see data from three different clients: * Python * Mozilla (Firefox) * Our embedded client The first two work properly, but the last throws an exception from within the parser of the digest response. I believe it has something to do with whether the last value is quoted. We have tested by both rearranging the order of the values and quoting all values and it seemed to be happier. So far, two different clients from two different vendors have triggered this bug. We are scheduled to do an interop event at the beginning of October in which digest authentication is required for almost all operations. |
