0003118: segment fault with JDK6 + -agentlib:resin
We've been running Resin Pro 3.1.7a - With -agentlib:resin - with JDK1.5 -- All good.

Today we upgraded to JDK6. On boot, the Resin Process dies with a Segment Fault.

Here is the error (I was googling around - And found the exact same cored dump that someone elsse also got) (I cannot find the BUG ID that file_id relates to ;)

INFO:
- your license number 1009004
- the version of Resin that you are using - 3.1.7a
- the operating system and it's version - Linux FC5 2.6.20-1.2320 (i686)

Can you guys shed some light into this? The core dump is the the additional infromation section. If I remove -agentlib - all good.

Can you attach the hs_error_pid file? It's generally pretty good at tracking things down. Also, if you can attach the exact system information from the Resin startup log. There might be some important extra information there.

thanks.

I have also experienced this problem on Windows XP using Resin 3.1.6. Everything runs fine under java 1.5.0_08, but when we upgraded to java 1.6.0_12 approximately 6/25 developers have so far reported this issue. It seems the JVM argument agentlib:resin is causing the problem. I have attached the error log from one of our machines.
