Summary: | 0002660: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable | ||||
Description: |
Dear We have a web server for a customer which runs on W32 Binary versions of Apache 2.X and Resin 3.1.6 The servers are Windows 2003 Servers. All equiped with 2 or 4 GB RAM , Dual processors XEON. We continuosly receive the following error from our monitoring system. About every 10 minutes or so , even though the website is hardly visited (so no constraints on busyness) status code: 503, status string: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable We have upgraded to the very latest stable release of resin , but we keep getting this error. Can you provide us with some pointers to start cheking this error ? We think it has something to do with The version of Apache (2.X) together with Caucho because on another system we use Apache 1.x , on a very heavy loaded system (+120.000 unique visitors per day !!) and it NEVER happens ... Kind Regards Bram Van Daele BELGIUM |
