Summary: 0001933: When archiving the access log, Resin stops response
Description: During resin archiving the access log file around 00:00, Resin stops response to any visit. Because our website is very busy, the archiving process may cost 5 minutes. So, our website will be no responding for 5 minutes.

Additional Information: We run resin on Windows 2003.

This is fixed in the 3.1 tree.

In 3.0, it may be possible to avoid the archive time by using path-format in the access-log. Since path-format will create the access log in-place, there's no need to wait for the rollover.

Also, the rollover-period or rollover-size can be reduced to reduce the time taken by the rollover.
